A few pictures as we head into our last week in T-town

One week from today we will be leaving Tallahassee and setting off on our summer travels. We will spend the next three and a half months among our family in Florida and Illinois, with several trips hither and thither thrown in. While we are looking forward to spending time with our loved ones, we will miss our little home here in Tallahassee, as well as our many dear friends God has blessed us with here. These past two years have been so blessed, and we will always look back fondly on the T-Town years.

Here are a few pictures from our trip to visit Caleb’s family over the weekend. Christ is risen! Hallelujah!

We’re on Facebook!

During the past months, it has meant so much to us to have our friends supporting us in so many ways as we prepare for Peru: in prayer, in financial giving, in sending us words of encouragement over the phone, in the mail, or over the Internet. How wonderful to know we have a whole team coming alongside us on this journey!

One of the ways we keep our friends and supporters up to date is through Facebook, so if you haven’t already, we invite you to join our group. We post updates on our support raising and news from the mission on a regular basis, so this might be a good way for you to stay informed about the work in Peru.

Thank you and God bless!

The Thief on the Cross

John Samson on the thief on the cross:

As God opens our hearts and mind to the one true biblical Gospel, we will also find in Christ the full assurance of salvation. As we turn away from any attempt at self justification, knowing that it is by grace that we are saved, through faith and all of this is the gift of God, not as a result of works (Eph. 2:8,9), we too will enjoy the sweet saving mercy of God.
